I am getting so frustrated with trying to create a game using the tutorial for game maker. I followed the instructions and got the game to work...I am having trouble fixing the background and adding the alarm...the end stuff. I will keep trying, I just hope I get it fixed by the due date.

I am still playing games on POGO when I can. I love the high stakes poker game. If I could play poker so well in real life, I would play when I go to Vegas. Then I might win real money. Knowing my luck, I would get nervous and choke. It is a lot different playing with pretend money than with real money.

social aspect

I have definitely experienced the social aspect of gaming this week. I have been playing online poker and by using the chat tool; we can converse just as if we were playing in the same room. It is very cool. It is a good way to meet people from all over. I played last night with a man from Tennessee, a woman from North Carolina, and another person from Missouri. It was intersting to find out where everyone was from.

becoming addicted

OKAY, I have found myself in a pickle. I am addicted to the free slots games at POGO. I love it. The only problem is, I need to be playing other games, but I only want to play this. I didn't realize there were so many free games on the internet to access. I went to the free arcade site; but didn't really like the games they had to choose from as well as those on POGO. I also visited Starfall.com. I like that site a lot they have some really good games on there. I also found a good site for games about money; but forgot to write it down, so I don't remember the link address.

addicted

I have been playing some of the games on POGO. I love the Bejeweled game. It is so hard to quit playing it. In fact, I think I will try to play for a few minutes before I go to bed. More on this post later.....

POGO is fun

I went to the POGO site that was posted on bb and got addicted to the slots game. I wish I had had 10,000 credits to play when I went to Vegas for real. I guess I must have played for about an hour and didn't want to stop then.

I also went to the addicting games site and played the naughty maps game! Hilarious! I only got 2 locations correct out of 20. See, you are given a map of the US and different city names pop up and they are names you probably would not have heard before and some of them sound rather...well, naughty. But what is funny is that these places are real and most of them I guessed were actually hundreds or even thousands of miles from their actual location. For example, did you know there is a place called Blue Moon right here in Kentucky? What about the Chocolate Bayou? It is in Texas. Some of the other city names are: Devil's Den, Intercourse, Hygiene, Woody, Lover, and Finger. Talk about a geography lesson! LOL

It is another busy, but wonderful school year. I will probably be looney by the time it is done LOL! I teach grades three through five moderate and severe disabilities at Owingsville Elementary School in Bath County. I am happily married and a mother of three beautiful children, a daughter age 23, a son age 17, and a son age 10 months. I also have a son-in-law who has been serving in Iraq and will hopefully be home at the end of the week. I am looking forward to learning a lot this semester so that I can provide better quality instruction for my students. Happy gaming!
